Information

A coffee as delicious as it is ethical, certified “Women’s lot,” “Farmer Impact Fund,” “Verified Living Income,” and “USDA Organic.”

Founded in 2007 by ten women producers, the AMPROCAL association now brings together more than 300 women cultivating organic specialty coffee in the Ocotepeque region. Unique in Honduras, the organization provides technical support, training, and the sharing of sustainable farming practices to improve quality and producers’ incomes.

The cherries are handpicked, pulped the same day, then fermented for 12–18 hours before a clear-water wash and sun-drying for 4–7 days.

In the cup, La Labor is delicate yet complex: nougat, roasted almond, pear, and jasmine, with perfect roundness as espresso or filter.
